about us

Isaiah 30:21 (NIV)

“And whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’

what is snoots in cahoots?

We’re a small, primarily-online, organic cotton children’s clothing company. Snoots in Cahoots became an idea in 2016 and turned into a reality at the beginning of 2017. We believe in quality over quantity, and that good health is worth the extra mile. You can count on us for clean, toxin-free, and super soft (did we mention super cute?!) clothing for little boys and girls, newborn up to size 6. You can purchase our clothing here and also on Etsy, in a few local West Michigan stores, and you can find US with our products at vendor events all over the United States (join our email list to see where we visit next!).

what is our style?

Everyone needs a few staple “basics” in their wardrobes, and kiddo closets aren’t an exception! We love simple styles, but we always keep originality in mind while designing new styles. One of our main focuses is to keep little ones comfortable in their clothing and luckily, organic cotton is incredibly soft and durable. As far as print goes, the characters we designed are all forest animals to incorporate nature into our aesthetic. We choose color schemes that flow nicely together, depending on the upcoming season. We want kids to be kids and still look fashionable.

Fun tip: look for our little characters or our “snoot” hidden in our clothes!

what is our philosophy?

As a company, we desire to serve the Lord, Jesus Christ in all we do. The book of Colossians in the Bible states, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24, NIV). It’s not about the income or business growth, it’s about choosing to trust God in waiting for His timing and giving our customers our best, whole-hearted work. In doing so, it is crucial to us that children receive the highest quality of organic cotton in their garments and only natural elements in other baby products, to protect them in every way. It was our priority to provide the safest and most honest materials from the very start of our business.

who are we?

We’re just a couple of small-town girls with big dreams for a kinder, simpler, cleaner, and healthier Earth. Our company name “Snoots in Cahoots” came from our desire to continue including animals and nature in the business world (the “snoot” on each of our characters is the same irregular circle with two nostrils, much like a pig nose). The Snoots headquarters is located in beautiful West Michigan where we both grew up. Check out our stories below!

Get to Know Us: Danielle

The brains behind the operation, Danielle was a part of the mind-map that became Snoots in Cahoots. Barely 30 years old, she has a beautiful family with her husband: Cody, four children: Audrina, Charlly, Tinzlee, and Quinn, and their wild pup, Wren. Danielle and Cody both grew up near the rural city of Zeeland where they now raise their babies. She didn’t always have a holistic mindset but took a major interest after having children. This led to a lifestyle change of embracing the organic way of living and taking the necessary steps to remove unnatural products, foods, etc. After learning the importance of natural medicine and clean eating, Danielle discovered the shocking statistics of damaging chemicals in children’s clothing and the likeliness of these toxins entering kids’ bloodstreams upon contact with the skin. This frightening yet motivating truth pushed her towards finding and creating a solution. Thus, the journey towards starting an organic cotton clothing company began.

Get To Know Us: Marianne

At only 17 years old, Marianne was bright-eyed and job searching when Snoots in Cahoots was born, which quickly blossomed to something much bigger in her heart. She loves colors and patterns, making clothing design a dream. Organic living didn’t have an impact on her childhood, but after turning 18 and growing tiresome of several medical problems, her mother suggested a change in her lifestyle. Growing up with a thyroid condition, Marianne was reliant on daily medication to replace the function her thyroid could not naturally achieve, but it wasn’t until her health went south that she took her disease into her own hands. Out of desperation, she researched and discovered information about toxins and their negative effects on the endocrine system. In just two years, Marianne holistically healed her body of Hashimotos. She still improves her hypothyroidism disease by choosing to pursue a healthy, natural approach. All-things organic (especially organic cotton!) are now a life-long passion for her.
